Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Francesco Vezzoli could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Le Surréalisme C'Est Moi! (Portrait Of Salvador Dalí With Jewels And Tears, After Horst) changed hands for USD 37,500.00 (€ 31,744.69) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Vezzoli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Veruschka in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 156,500.00 (€ 224,744.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Francesco Vezzoli konnte im September 2017 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wechselte die Arbeit Le Surréalisme C'Est Moi! (Portrait Of Salvador Dalí With Jewels And Tears, After Horst) für USD 37.500,00 (€ 31.744,69) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00.
