Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Comizi di non Amore – The Prequel Contestant No. 3 – (Marianne Faithfull) by Francesco Vezzoli was auctioned at Christies in New York in August 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,039.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Vezzoli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Veruschka in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 156,500.00 (€ 224,744.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Comizi di non Amore – The Prequel Contestant No. 3 – (Marianne Faithfull) von Francesco Vezzoli kam im August 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 23.039,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Vezzoli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Veruschka im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 156.500,00 (€ 224.744,30).
