Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work L'Italia Siamo Noi - Omaggio A Lucio Fontana by Francesco Vezzoli was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in June 2020. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 87,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Vezzoli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Veruschka, which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 156,500.00 (€ 224,744.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit L'Italia Siamo Noi - Omaggio A Lucio Fontana von Francesco Vezzoli kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 87.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Francesco Vezzoli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Veruschka beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für GBP 156.500,00 (€ 224.744,30) versteigert wurde.
