Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Christies in London held the auction First Open | Online, which included the work Anna Magnani Loved Mario Praz by Francesco Vezzoli. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,449.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Vezzoli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Veruschka in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 156,500.00 (€ 224,744.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open | Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Anna Magnani Loved Mario Praz von Francesco Vezzoli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.449,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Vezzoli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Veruschka im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 156.500,00 (€ 224.744,30).
