The work Omaggio A Francesco Scavullo: Christy Turlington by Francesco Vezzoli was sold in the Reborn: Modern and Contemporary auction at Christies in Milan in May 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 60,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 71 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Vezzoli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Veruschka, which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 156,500.00 (€ 224,744.30).

Die Arbeit Omaggio A Francesco Scavullo: Christy Turlington von Francesco Vezzoli wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Reborn: Modern and Contemporary bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 60.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 71 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Francesco Vezzoli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Veruschka beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für GBP 156.500,00 (€ 224.744,30) versteigert wurde.
