This artwork by Francesco Vezzoli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in June this year. In the Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours 1912 – 2110 auction, the work Dear Miss Gloria sold for EUR 53,740.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Vezzoli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Veruschka in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 156,500.00 (€ 224,744.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Francesco Vezzoli erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours 1912 – 2110 wurde die Arbeit Dear Miss Gloria für EUR 53.740,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Vezzoli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Veruschka im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 156.500,00 (€ 224.744,30).
