Both signed, dated, numbered 5/24 and additionally annotated 'R' and 'L' respectively in pencil on the reverse (there were also 3 artist's proofs), printed by the Lower East Side Printshop, Inc., New York, published by Sikkema Jenkins & Co., New York, both unframed.

Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included the work Figure 2 (II) by Erin Shirreff. The price achieved of USD 2,520.00 (€ 2,391.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erin Shirreff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monograph in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,065.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figure 2 (II) von Erin Shirreff zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.520,00 (€ 2.391,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erin Shirreff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Monograph im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.065,68).
