Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2018 Christies in New York held the auction on paper | online, which included the work Signature by Erin Shirreff. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,073.05). Admittedly, works by Erin Shirreff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Monograph in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,065.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion on paper | online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Signature von Erin Shirreff zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.073,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erin Shirreff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Monograph im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.065,68).
