Auction result misses estimated price range
In February last year a collector was able to acquire the work Blueprint (10.3i.1o) by Erin Shirreff for USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,490.38). This price was achieved in the auction NOISE FOR NOW Benefit Auction at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Erin Shirreff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Monograph in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,065.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Blueprint (10.3i.1o) von Erin Shirreff für USD 5.040,00 (€ 4.490,38) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion NOISE FOR NOW Benefit Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erin Shirreff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Monograph im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.065,68).
