The work Plate 284 from "Animal Locomotion", 1887 by Eadweard Muybridge was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2020. It achieved a price of SEK 13,000.00 (€ 1,270.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eadweard Muybridge achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected plates from Animal Locomotion, 1871-1885 in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 114,000.00 (€ 83,455.34).

Die Arbeit Plate 284 from "Animal Locomotion", 1887 von Eadweard Muybridge kam im November 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 13.000,00 (€ 1.270,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eadweard Muybridge erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selected plates from Animal Locomotion, 1871-1885 im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 114.000,00 (€ 83.455,34).
