It achieved a price of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 8,370.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pupuk DP - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ekspresi Turki, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,072.31).

Die Arbeit Sri Mariamman Temple, Singapore von Pupuk DP kam im November 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 8.370,81) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Pupuk DP mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ekspresi Turki beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.072,31) versteigert wurde.
