The work Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York by Pupuk DP was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 100,000.00 (€ 8,945.46), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pupuk DP - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ekspresi Turki, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,072.31).

Die Arbeit Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York von Pupuk DP wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 8.945,46) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Pupuk DP mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ekspresi Turki beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.072,31) versteigert wurde.
