The work Dua Wajah Emas by Pupuk DP was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011. The result of EUR 1,500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pupuk DP achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ekspresi Turki in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,072.31).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Dua Wajah Emas von Pupuk DP kam im September 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pupuk DP erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ekspresi Turki im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.072,31).
