In May 2011 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Part II, which included the work Untitled(post FARM Paintings) by Daniel Hesidence. The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,390.09), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daniel Hesidence - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 74,500.00 (€ 51,822.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2011 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled(post FARM Paintings) von Daniel Hesidence zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.390,09) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Daniel Hesidence mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 74.500,00 (€ 51.822,48) versteigert wurde.
