Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Untitled from the series Autumn Buffalo by Daniel Hesidence. The price achieved of USD 10,710.00 (€ 10,947.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Daniel Hesidence have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 74,500.00 (€ 51,822.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled from the series Autumn Buffalo von Daniel Hesidence zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.710,00 (€ 10.947,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Hesidence auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 51.822,48).
