Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Volume Six of the Whole) by Daniel Hesidence was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2021. The price achieved of USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,339.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Hesidence achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 74,500.00 (€ 51,822.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Volume Six of the Whole) von Daniel Hesidence kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.780,00 (€ 3.339,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Hesidence erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 51.822,48).
