Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2011 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work Two Works: i) Vredd-00 #14; ii) Vred-00 #8 by Daniel Hesidence. The price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,506.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Daniel Hesidence have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 74,500.00 (€ 51,822.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2011 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Works: i) Vredd-00 #14; ii) Vred-00 #8 von Daniel Hesidence zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.506,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Hesidence auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 51.822,48).
