Auction result misses estimated price range

In June 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Zen Garden #29 by Cleve Gray for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,848.06). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cleve Gray - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Remembering Chi Pai Shih No. 2, which sold at auction in March last year for USD 27,720.00 (€ 24,988.73).

Im Juni 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Zen Garden #29 von Cleve Gray für USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.848,06) erwerben.
