A top price for Cleve Gray
This artwork by Cleve Gray achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March last year. In the Contemporary Discoveries auction, the work Remembering Chi Pai Shih No. 2 sold for USD 27,720.00 (€ 24,988.73) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. This high result makes Remembering Chi Pai Shih No. 2 the most expensive artwork by Cleve Gray that we have observed at auctions so far.
