The work Party by Cleve Gray was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in December 2021. It achieved a price of USD 15,300.00 (€ 13,518.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Cleve Gray; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Remembering Chi Pai Shih No. 2 sold at auction in March last year with the realized price of USD 27,720.00 (€ 24,988.73).
