Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Last Laugh by Clare Woods was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2013. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,835.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Clare Woods - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Black Vomit, which sold at auction in October 2015 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,610.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Last Laugh von Clare Woods kam im Juni 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.835,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Clare Woods mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Black Vomit beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.610,16) versteigert wurde.
