In October 2015 Christies in London held the auction A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange, which included the work Black Vomit by Clare Woods. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,610.16), 70% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Black Vomit the most expensive artwork by Clare Woods that we have observed at auctions so far.
