A top price for Chiho Aoshima - as previously expected
In May 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Part II, which included the work City Glow by Chiho Aoshima. The auction ended at the price of USD 60,000.00 (€ 48,508.37), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, City Glow is the most expensive artwork by Chiho Aoshima that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit City Glow von Chiho Aoshima zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 48.508,37) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist City Glow das teuerste Kunstwerk von Chiho Aoshima, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
