Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Golden Fish”, 1999 by Chiho Aoshima for DKK 13,000.00 (€ 1,745.24). This price was achieved in the auction Modern paintings, sculptures and prints at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chiho Aoshima achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work City Glow in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 48,508.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Golden Fish”, 1999 von Chiho Aoshima für DKK 13.000,00 (€ 1.745,24) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern paintings, sculptures and prints bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chiho Aoshima erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit City Glow im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 48.508,37).
