Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Buildinghead: Palm Trees; Yuyake-chan Miss Sunset; Buildinghead: Chameleon by Chiho Aoshima for GBP 191.25 (€ 228.12). This price was achieved in the auction Prints and Multiples at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chiho Aoshima achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work City Glow in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 48,508.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Buildinghead: Palm Trees; Yuyake-chan Miss Sunset; Buildinghead: Chameleon von Chiho Aoshima für GBP 191,25 (€ 228,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chiho Aoshima erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit City Glow im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 48.508,37).
