Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Japanese Apricot; Sky by Chiho Aoshima. It changed hands for a price of GBP 765.00 (€ 912.48) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chiho Aoshima achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work City Glow in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 48,508.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Japanese Apricot; Sky von Chiho Aoshima zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 765,00 (€ 912,48) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chiho Aoshima erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit City Glow im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 48.508,37).
