Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Little Hope, the Chicken Girl(Executed in 2008) by Chiho Aoshima was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 120,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 144,000.00 (€ 18,452.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chiho Aoshima - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work City Glow, which sold at auction in May 2010 for USD 60,000.00 (€ 48,508.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Little Hope, the Chicken Girl(Executed in 2008) von Chiho Aoshima wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 144.000,00 (€ 18.452,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Chiho Aoshima mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit City Glow beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für USD 60.000,00 (€ 48.508,37) versteigert wurde.
