Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work All My Clothes by Charles Ray was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2013. It achieved a price of USD 243,750.00 (€ 187,673.24), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Ray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aluminum Girl in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 4,282,500.00 (€ 3,463,684.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit All My Clothes von Charles Ray kam im Mai 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 243.750,00 (€ 187.673,24) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Ray erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Aluminum Girl im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.282.500,00 (€ 3.463.684,89).
