Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Charles Ray could be acquired at Christies in New York in November last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 21st Century Evening Sale auction, the work Revolution Counter Revolution changed hands for USD 2,100,000.00 (€ 2,034,292.36) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000,000.00 – 5,000,000.00. Other works by Charles Ray have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2012 by the work Aluminum Girl at USD 4,282,500.00 (€ 3,463,684.89).

Andere Arbeiten von Charles Ray wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2012 die Arbeit Aluminum Girl mit USD 4.282.500,00 (€ 3.463.684,89).
