Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mother And Child by Chaim Gross was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,668.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chaim Gross have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unicyclist in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,032.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mother And Child von Chaim Gross wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.668,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chaim Gross auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unicyclist im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.032,13).
