Hirshhorn: Collector for a Nation, Part II auction, the work Amy sold for USD 8,820.00 (€ 7,331.67) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chaim Gross have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unicyclist in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,032.13).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Chaim Gross erzielte im April 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for a Nation, Part II wurde die Arbeit Amy für USD 8.820,00 (€ 7.331,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chaim Gross auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unicyclist im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.032,13).
