Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Head Of A Girl by Chaim Gross for USD 378.00 (€ 314.21). This price was achieved in the auction Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for a Nation, Part II at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chaim Gross achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unicyclist in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,032.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
