A top price for Chaim Gross - as previously expected
The work Unicyclist by Chaim Gross was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2019. The price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,032.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Unicyclist is the most expensive artwork by Chaim Gross that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Unicyclist von Chaim Gross kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.032,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Unicyclist das teuerste Kunstwerk von Chaim Gross, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
