Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Head by Chaim Gross was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,638.00 (€ 1,361.60). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chaim Gross achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unicyclist in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,032.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Head von Chaim Gross kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.638,00 (€ 1.361,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chaim Gross erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unicyclist im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.032,13).
