In April 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for a Nation, Part II, which included the work Head Of Jean by Chaim Gross. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,134.00 (€ 942.64), 42% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chaim Gross achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unicyclist in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,032.13).

Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for a Nation, Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Head Of Jean von Chaim Gross zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.134,00 (€ 942,64) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chaim Gross erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unicyclist im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.032,13).
