This artwork by Chaim Gross achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in April 2021. In the Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for a Nation, Part II auction, the work Young Mother sold for USD 18,900.00 (€ 15,710.72) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chaim Gross - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unicyclist, which sold at auction in November 2019 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,032.13).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Chaim Gross erzielte im April 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for a Nation, Part II wurde die Arbeit Young Mother für USD 18.900,00 (€ 15.710,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Chaim Gross mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unicyclist beobachtet, die im November 2019 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.032,13) versteigert wurde.
