Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included this untitled work by Dzine. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100.00 – 200.00, the actual price achieved of USD 125.00 (€ 110.31) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dzine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Love in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,630.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Dzine zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 100,00 – 200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 125,00 (€ 110,31) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dzine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Love im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 14.630,15).
