The work Push Papers by Cady Noland was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2017. The result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 177,999.29) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cady Noland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bluewald in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 9,797,000.00 (€ 8,911,224.30).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Push Papers von Cady Noland kam im Mai 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 177.999,29) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cady Noland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bluewald im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.797.000,00 (€ 8.911.224,30).
