Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Cady Noland was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 41,828.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cady Noland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bluewald in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 9,797,000.00 (€ 8,911,224.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Cady Noland wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 41.828,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cady Noland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bluewald im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.797.000,00 (€ 8.911.224,30).
