Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled XXII by Bill Jensen for USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,163.77). This price was achieved in the auction First Open/NYC at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Bill Jensen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Givers and Takers in July 2019 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,423.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled XXII von Bill Jensen für USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.163,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open/NYC bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bill Jensen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Givers and Takers im Juli 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.423,18).
