Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study For Alice I by Bill Jensen was sold in the Fields of Vision: The Private Collection of Artists Wolf Kahn and Emily Mason Online Sale auction at Christies in New York in May 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,125.00 (€ 922.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Bill Jensen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Givers and Takers in July 2019 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,423.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Study For Alice I von Bill Jensen wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Fields of Vision: The Private Collection of Artists Wolf Kahn and Emily Mason Online Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.125,00 (€ 922,58) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bill Jensen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Givers and Takers im Juli 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.423,18).
