Auction result well in line with expectations
The work For Alice Too by Bill Jensen was sold in the Contemporary Edition auction at Christies in New York in July 2020. The price achieved of USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,592.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Bill Jensen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Givers and Takers in July 2019 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,423.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit For Alice Too von Bill Jensen wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Edition bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.592,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bill Jensen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Givers and Takers im Juli 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.423,18).
