This artwork by Bill Jensen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in December 2018. In the Property from the Collection of Harry W. and Mary Margaret Anderson Online auction, the work Antica sold for USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,582.75) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Bill Jensen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Givers and Takers sold at auction in July 2019 with the realized price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,423.18).

In der Auktion Property from the Collection of Harry W. and Mary Margaret Anderson Online wurde die Arbeit Antica für USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.582,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Bill Jensen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Givers and Takers im Juli 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.423,18).
