Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Thought Series #740 by Bill Jacobson for USD 500.00 (€ 342.40). This price was achieved in the auction Saturday@Phillips at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bill Jacobson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work #3543 in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,441.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Thought Series #740 von Bill Jacobson für USD 500,00 (€ 342,40) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Saturday@Phillips bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bill Jacobson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit #3543 im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.441,82).
