Auction result well in line with expectations
In 2009 Phillips in New York held the auction New York New York, which included the work Untitled #3830 by Bill Jacobson. The price achieved of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,621.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bill Jacobson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work #3543, which sold at auction in September 2021 for USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,441.82).

Im 2009 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New York New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled #3830 von Bill Jacobson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.621,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bill Jacobson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit #3543 beobachtet, die im September 2021 für USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.441,82) versteigert wurde.
