Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bill Jacobson could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Interim Landscape 185-6, 1989 changed hands for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,569.28) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bill Jacobson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work #3543, which sold at auction in September 2021 for USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,441.82).
