Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Wedgewood by Ben Schonzeit for USD 125.00 (€ 110.31). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ben Schonzeit achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 8 Peppers, 1973 in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 9,743.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Wedgewood von Ben Schonzeit für USD 125,00 (€ 110,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ben Schonzeit erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 8 Peppers, 1973 im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.743,00.
