Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ben Schonzeit could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints & Multiples auction, the work Roses With Dutch Landscape changed hands for USD 250.00 (€ 220.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ben Schonzeit achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 8 Peppers, 1973 in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 9,743.00.
