Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of Niko Pirosmani by Atul Dodiya was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2018. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,520.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Atul Dodiya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three Painters in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 541,000.00 (€ 380,476.83).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of Niko Pirosmani von Atul Dodiya kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.520,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Atul Dodiya erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three Painters im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 541.000,00 (€ 380.476,83).
