In October 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Newly Painted Bridge by Atul Dodiya. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 100,800.00 (€ 119,420.78), 44% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Atul Dodiya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Three Painters, which sold at auction in September 2007 for USD 541,000.00 (€ 380,476.83).

Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Newly Painted Bridge von Atul Dodiya zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 100.800,00 (€ 119.420,78) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Atul Dodiya mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Three Painters beobachtet, die im September 2007 für USD 541.000,00 (€ 380.476,83) versteigert wurde.
